NYX Powder Blush Espresso and Mauve

How do feel while reading this post ?
The weather in the first month in January is very strange. Sometime is's rain and next day will be rain heavy.
The wind is very strong here. The flood is hitting some area in Indonesia, the height can reach the waist of adult. Hope the GOD will protect them there.

        Okay, Today I want to review two Blush On. I got them as Christmas Giveaway from Ce Josephine of Lalaluna Nail Parlour Blog. They are NYX Blush on. NYX is a well-known brand from USA. Here in Indonesia you can buy it in several counter in big cities. But yet, there is no counter in my city. Damn, I hate it ...

Good point of NYX is the affordable price and good quality. 

Packaging : 

The packaging quite cute and simple, since it comes in single. The material is from plastic with transparent on the cap. There is no brush come with it. For someone it's not that important. Yeah, in certain brand somehow the brush in unusable, small, hard, and brittle. But, it's quite important for someone who need the simplicity or travel without have to bring out the big brush. Just opinion.

They are in Mauve and Espresso

Texture : 

The texture is matte, good, and not powdery. And it's easy to apply and pigmented. It's said that this Brush last for hours. And I found it will fade away after 2 hours in my oily face. So sad ...

Color : 

Espresso comes with light choco color, and a little bit shimmer. But you can forgive it. You can get the glamour look. Mauve comes in sheer color, a little bit pinkish for me.

For me these products are :
(+) come in sheer and beautiful color
(+) pigmented
(+) not powdery
(+) really affordable about 5 USD

(-) bulky and uninteresting packaging
(-) so so staying powder

Will I repurchased ? : No sure. It's difficult to find in my hometown. If I want to buy it, I'm sure for trying other colors.

La Tulipe Lipstick 24

How's your days ? Or your holidays ?
Well, it's rain almost all  the day here. Such annoying situation, I can't go anywhere than around my house. It's nice day to lay down in my bed. 
Without realize, two weeks holiday will meet its end.

Today, I would like to review one of Indonesian Brand. It is La Tulipe. La Tulipe is famous brand in Indonesia. La Tulipe was the official makeup brand for Miss World 2013. Remember ? That event was held in Bali, though there were lot of controversies. It was a successful event.

Several years before, I used think La Tulipe is a brand which is specialized for adult and middle-age woman, and exclusively available in Salon only. But I was wrong. And today, La Tulipe is one of my favorite brand. I use some of its products and found them work in my skin. The most important, it is provided in my hometown. Interested ?? Go check its:

Okay, enough for the introduction. In this post I would like to review one of La Tulipe product. It's lipstick. Yeay ..... For the truth, I bought it by mistake. Several time ago, I visited La Tulipe counter. I was searching of Brown or Caramel lipstick. I tried the tester, and got confused between two shade. Because I was hurried chose it. 

La Tulipe Lipstick No 24

The packaging is elegant. It comes with silver-ash color with gold combination from metal; not plastic, and sturdy. There are POM number, Net, and lipstick's number. Expired and Production Date ??? Check the box. Mine ??? I've thrown it away after made sure it's not expired yet.

See that red color ??

Here it is... La Tulipe Lipstick No. 24. It is bloody red. In the first swap in my lips, it looked like Dark Brown. But when I went to brighter place. I found it's soo red....
Mine is No. 24, unfortunately there is no name of this shade. Just number ??? It's kinda boring right ??? The color is bloody red, probably close to brown. Admit it, some of us need more gut to wear red lipstick. That's way, I seldom use it. If want use it, just make it light.

It has nice fruity smell, but not strong. May be it's apricot or cherry. The texture is creamy, not make my lips dry and easy to apply. It's really pigmented. Just one swap. Voila ... Unfortunately, the staying power is so-so. It can fade away, easily. Once you eat, it will leave its stain.

For me it is :
(+) Classy and sturdy packaging
(+) Pigmented
(+) Nice smell
(+) Affordable, I got it for 38.000 IDR. In some area may be less or more.

(-) So so staying power 

Will I repurchase ? : No, I want to try their other colors

Happy New Year 2014

How are you doing ?
It's kinda late to make this post.
Ah, without realizing it has 2014 already. A new year, and 12 months to go. I just want to say Happy New 2014 Year. ^_^

Many people are sure that new year is a new beginning. The 1st January is the first page of 365 days to go.
A new year is made as new chance to change and be the new one. Totally new.
That's why every the first day of January, people always make resolution. 
Resolution is a kind of promise or challenge to their own selves. It could be want to get a new gadget, a new lover, a new place to visit, lose weight, etc.

Hopes for 2014

Personally, I've never made something special as resolution. Because for me resolution is same kind like promise, and promise can be made any time, any month, any date. But yet, a promise must be done.
This year I made a resolution. My resolution is revolution. Such as :
1. Re-volute my laziness, bad time management, and bad money management.
2. Re-volute my swing mood in working, hanging around people, and writing (assignment or Blog)
3. Re-volute my love story (ahay ...)

I'm sure GOD just gives the best for me ...
